KEY DETAILS

DRAFT COACHING NOTES — FOR PARENT / COACH REVIEW

  • Start in a solid base — hands and knees, elbows tight to your ribs

  • Lead leg steps up first, foot flat and underneath you

  • Pop your hips up and clear them before you stand

  • Turn and face as you come up, don’t just stand straight

  • Do sets of reps on both sides so neither side feels awkward

COMMON MISTAKE

Standing up tall before clearing your hips, which leaves you easy to drag back down.
